Sealed by AskBell

Four promises about your answers.

When you answer a form made with AskBell, you can count on four things. They are built into AskBell itself, so no business can switch them off, and they hold on every form, whether or not it shows the seal.

  1. 01

    Every answer arrives as written

    What it means

Your answer reaches the business exactly as you wrote it. Nobody can change it once it is sent: not the business, and not AskBell’s team.

    How it is kept

AskBell has no screen, setting or API that edits an answer. A business can set aside only an answer our junk check flagged (sent faster than anyone can read, keyboard mashing, or sent without the anti-bot check), and Results show how many were set aside. It cannot remove an unhappy answer for being unhappy. Answers that staff collect on the AskBell app are marked with who collected them.

  2. 02

    No review gating

    What it means

If a business asks for Google reviews, everyone who answers is offered the review step, whatever they said.

    How it is kept

The review step has no conditions in AskBell’s forms: it cannot be shown only to people who gave a high score, and it appears on every thank-you page. This is what Google’s review policy and the US FTC’s rule on consumer reviews ask.

  3. 03

    Never sold, never for ads

    What it means

Your answers are never sold, and never sent to advertising or analytics companies.

    How it is kept

Form pages carry no advertising or analytics trackers, and the page’s security rules let no one add one. They set no tracking cookies. Your answers go to the business that asked, and to tools that business connects itself.

  4. 04

Offers never depend on a rating

    What it means

A thank-you offer is a reward for answering, never for a good score, a particular answer or a review.

    How it is kept

An offer is set once for the whole form and has no conditions, so everyone who answers sees the same offer on whichever thank-you page they reach. Offer words are refused on a thank-you page that only some people reach. When an offer has a deadline or is only for the first so many people, who gets it depends on when they answered, never on what they said.

What the seal does not promise

  • That the business is good. The seal is about how answers are handled, not a rating of the business.
  • That every answer is true. AskBell checks for bots and junk, but cannot know whether an opinion is fair.
  • What the business does with the answers it has. It can download them or send them to its own tools, under its own privacy notice.
  • That answers are kept for ever. A business can delete a whole form, or its account, and every answer in it is erased (a deleted form first waits in Trash).
  • That the business sees every answer at once. Answers beyond 150% of a plan’s monthly allowance are kept, never deleted, but stay hidden from the business until it upgrades, whenever that is.
  • That machine help is perfect. Spoken answers are turned into text by AI, and the business can have answers translated by AI; either can contain mistakes. A translation is always shown under the original.
  • A technical guarantee. The promises are kept by how AskBell is built and run; like any online service, AskBell’s own engineers run the database.

Where the seal appears

On free plans, the seal sits at the foot of every form, next to “Powered by AskBell.app”. Paid plans remove AskBell’s branding, so for them the seal is a choice: Settings → Branding → “Show the honest-feedback seal”. The four promises hold on every form either way.

Something wrong?

If you think a form made with AskBell breaks these promises, write to hello@askbell.app with its link. Our honest feedback policy sets out the rules every business agrees to.
