Sub-processors
Version 1, in effect from 24 October 2026
To run AskBell, we use a small number of other companies, called sub-processors. Each gets only what it needs to do its job for us. We never sell answers, and never send them to advertising or analytics companies.
The list
- Cloudflare — hosting, databases, file storage (including photos and files respondents add to a form, kept private in R2), email delivery, spam checks (Turnstile) and AI features (Workers AI). Data is kept in Cloudflare's Asia-Pacific region where possible.
- Razorpay — payments for plans bought in India.
- Stripe — payments for plans bought outside India.
- Google Firebase — push notifications to the AskBell phone app; and, only if you say yes in the app, anonymous usage statistics, with no advertising identifier.
- Google — sign-in with Google, if you choose it.
- MSG91 — SMS sign-in codes in India.
- Meta (WhatsApp) — alerts on WhatsApp, once that is live.
Integrations a business sets up
A business on a plan with integrations can send its own answers to its own systems (webhooks or our API), to a Slack channel, or to a Google Sheet. We send them only to the destinations the business configures, signed where the destination allows it, and stop when it switches them off. These destinations are chosen and controlled by the business, so they are not our sub-processors and are not listed above: the business is responsible for them.
Changes
We update this page before we add a new sub-processor.
If you are a business using AskBell and would like to be told by email, write to hello@askbell.app and ask. We will email you before each new sub-processor is added.
More
How we use each of them for account holders and respondents is explained in our Privacy policy. For businesses, our Data processing terms explain how this list fits the work we do for you.
