Grievance redressal
Version 1, in effect from 24 October 2026
If something about AskBell has gone wrong for you — your account, a form, a payment, something a form asks, or how your personal data is handled — you can complain to our Grievance Officer. This page explains how, and what happens next. It follows the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
How to complain
Write to hello@askbell.app with Grievance in the subject line. Please include:
- your name, and the email or phone number you sign in with, if you have an account;
- what happened, and when;
- the link to the form, if your complaint is about one;
- what you would like us to do.
If you answered a form and your complaint is about your answers, the business that made the form is in charge of them. You may complain to it, to us, or to both. We will pass your complaint on and help the business deal with it.
What happens next
- Acknowledgement within 24 hours. We confirm that we have your complaint.
- Resolution within 15 days for complaints under the IT Rules, 2021. We tell you what we found and what we did.
- Complaints about your personal data are answered within the time the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules allow, and sooner where we can.
If we need more from you, we will ask, and tell you how that affects the timing.
If you are not satisfied
For a complaint about your personal data, once you have used this process, you may take it to the Data Protection Board of India, set up under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The Act asks you to come to us first, so please give us the chance to put it right.
Nothing on this page takes away any other right you have under the law.
