AI features

AskBell has three AI features. This page explains what each one does with your data, and what it does not.

• Translate with AI, in the form builder, turns a form into other languages.
• Draft with AI, when you make a new form, writes a first draft from a short description.
• Comment themes, in Results, groups the written answers to a form into the themes people keep mentioning.

What each one sends

• Translate with AI sends a form's own texts: its title, questions, options and endings. It never reads the answers people give.
• Draft with AI sends only the description you type and the language you pick.
• Comment themes sends the written answers (free-text replies) from the latest 300 responses to one form, and only when you press the button. It does not send ratings, choices, email addresses, phone numbers or who answered. People sometimes write personal details into a comment; those go too, so ask respondents not to.

Where it runs

• All three run on Cloudflare Workers AI, inside AskBell's own Cloudflare account. Cloudflare already hosts AskBell and your responses, so nothing goes anywhere new.
• No outside AI company receives your form, your description or your respondents' answers.
• Nothing is used to train AI models.
• Themes are shown to you and not stored. Running them again reads the answers again.

You stay in charge

• A translation or a drafted form is a draft. You review it, change any line you like, and respondents see nothing until you publish.
• AI can be wrong, especially with names, idioms and short labels. Please ask someone who reads the language to check a translation before you share the form.
• Themes and their counts are estimates. Read the answers themselves before you act on them, and never use themes alone to make decisions about a person.

Limits and switching it off

• There is a daily limit on AI uses for each business, so the features stay quick and fair for everyone.
• AskBell's administrators can switch each feature off. When one is off, nothing is sent for it.
